How to modify multiple cPanel accounts within WHM

Sometimes you may need to adjust multiple cPanel accounts at once within your WHM area. As an example, you may be wanting to change the package of multiple cPanel accounts so that they all use the same. Our guide will show you how to carry this out, quickly and easily.

Modifying multiple cPanel accounts:

Firstly, log into your WHM account. If you are unsure on how to do this, please view the following help article - 'How to log into WHM'

Once logged in, from your WHM home screen type in 'multiple accounts' within the search box, located in the top left of your WHM area, then click on 'Modify/Upgrade Multiple Accounts'

On the Modify/Upgrade Multiple Accounts page, the system will then list out all of the cPanel accounts currently contained within your Reseller hosting or cPanel server.

Firstly, click on the tick box to the left of each cPanel account that you would like to modify.

If needed you can use the search options on the right-hand side of the page to narrow down your results, For example, to show all cPanel accounts which currently use a certain package.

Next, you will be able to choose a couple of different options:

• Locale: Adjusts the default language to be used on the selected cPanel accounts.
• 
  
• Package: Adjusts the package to be used by the selected cPanel accounts.

Note: In this guide, the example shown is what you would see on a Reseller Hosting account. If you have a cPanel server and are accessing as Root then there will also be further options to choose from:

• Reseller: Adjusts the selected cPanel accounts to be owned by a reseller or root,
• 
  
• Theme: Adjusts the default theme to be used by the selected cPanel accounts.

Once you have selected the cPanel accounts and settings needed, click on the 'Change' button to complete the changes.

The system will then list through the accounts being updated, and once done show an 'All Modifications Complete' message.
